Central Book Exchange in South Salt Lake City is a bit of a drive, but you can’t beat its colossal and ever-evolving inventory. This independently owned shop features more than 75,000 items – including many rare and out-of-print titles. You can also exchange books you no longer want for credit toward books in the store. Seagull Book

Seagull Book in The District is another popular spot among locals. One thing to be aware of is that its inventory revolves around the tenets of Mormonism. Besides a broad inventory of books, you’ll find movies, music, clothing, and more at Seagull. The South Jordan store is open for in-person shopping, with COVID-19 precautions in place. This Mormon bookstore boasts a wide inventory of religious titles. You’ll also find music, movies, jewelry, art, and more at Deseret. Barnes & Noble

We all know the drill with Barnes & Noble. Featuring a deep and wide-ranging inventory of titles, this trusty chain store has locations in West Jordan and Sandy. If you don’t feel comfortable shopping in person, curbside pickup is available for online orders.
