There’s no denying the fact there’s some dang good restaurants in town. Check out the worldly flavors available right here in Herriman.
Guras Spice House
Guras Spice House is Indian and Nepali cuisine at its best. According to Yelp, the chicken tikka masala and lamb curry are must-tries, but you can find your own favorite dish by tasting everything they have to offer during their lunch buffet.
Guras is located at 5530 W 13400 South in Herriman. Try the lunch buffet between 11 AM and 2:30 PM Monday through Saturday. Order takeout or dine in for dinner from 2:30 to 10 PM Monday through Saturday or between noon and 9 PM on Sunday.
La Garnacha
If you think you’ve eaten authentic Mexican food, think again. La Garnacha wants to show you what you’ve been missing. Try the Mexico City-inspired traditional tlaxcalli – essentially, a thick tortilla filled with beans and topped with grilled meat and fresh cheese, plus cilantro and salsa. Or a sope, the closest thing to a personal-sized Mexican pizza. Or the drool-worthy pambazo sencillo – a fancy Mexican sandwich roll dipped in chili sauce and piled high with chorizo, queso fresco, and green salsa.
La Garnacha is located at 5418 West Main Street in Herriman and is open Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 8:30 PM and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 9 PM.
The Angry Korean
The Angry Korean is an unexpected fast-casual gem. Try the beef bulgogi or chicken katsu – both fan favorites on Yelp. And don’t skip the pillowy bao buns or crispy veggie dumplings as starters.
Located at 11587 South District Main Drive in South Jordan, The Angry Korean is open Monday through Saturday for lunch from 11 AM to 3 PM or dinner from 5 to 9 PM. On Sunday, stop by between noon and 6 PM.
