Thinking about skipping all the fuss this holiday season? Not looking forward to the hours of cooking and the hours of cleanup that follow? Why not opt out and leave everything to the professionals? Here are some restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth region that will be open for business on Thanksgiving this year and serving up some of your favorite dishes – so you won’t have to worry about a thing.
Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse
Carnivore favorite Del Frisco’s will be going all out this holiday season with a three-course Thanksgiving meal. You’ll start with a butternut squash soup and harvest salad, then you’ll enjoy all the classic holiday dishes, including slow-roasted turkey breast, sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry relish, and gravy. And make sure to wear an elastic waistband because you’ll get to choose between two delicious desserts: pumpkin cheesecake and pecan pie.
St. Martin’s Wine Bistro
Though it’s a bit of a drive from Olympus Willow Park, this Dallas restaurant is offering a delicious selection of Thanksgiving dishes that’s worth the trip. You get to choose your appetizer: Caesar salad, the restaurant’s signature, or their Champagne Brie Soup. And for an entrée, you can go with the classic turkey plate, or a few other options, including Steak Diane and Boeuf Bourgignon. Their dessert options will please everyone, with a choice of Chocolate Terrine, White Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake, and Texas Pecan Pie.
Fearing’s
Headed by Chef Dean Fearing, this famous Dallas restaurant is ready to welcome locals with their mouth-watering, indulgent, three-course holiday meal. The first course includes a selection of delicious dishes like butternut squash soup, poached jumbo prawns, scallops, and chicken-fried quail. The second course will wow you: tangerine-glazed turkey, pan-seared halibut, beef tenderloin, and lamb osso buco are all on the menu. And finishing off this masterpiece is a dessert selection that includes pumpkin pie, French silk pie, and maple bourbon pecan pie. Mix and match to create your perfect holiday meal.
Y.O. Steakhouse
Want a uniquely Texan Thanksgiving dinner? Then this is the place for you. Check out their non-traditional – but classically delicious – holiday dishes like shrimp and grits, venison tamales, and buffalo filet mignon.
