MALL FOOD REINVENTED: GREAT DINING OPTIONS AT THE WOODLANDS MALL

|

Sit-Down Restaurants at The Woodlands Mall

You can find something to suit just about any palate and budget among the six sit-down restaurants at The Woodlands. Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is probably the most high-end (and high-priced) venue with melt-in-your-mouth steak, seafood, and mesmerizing water views. Right next door is Peli Peli South African Kitchen, with a wide-ranging menu that combines the flavors and cuisines of South Africa (everything from wood-grilled meats to curries and an array of spicy sauces).

For less adventurous fare, there’s Torchy’s Tacos, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, and the enormous menu at The Cheesecake Factory (save room for dessert). And don’t overlook Bazille. This bistro tucked away inside Nordstrom offers appetizers, salads, sandwiches, brick-oven pizzas, seasonal entrees, and more, plus a full bar.

Dining Options along The Woodlands Waterway

Two blocks south of The Woodlands Mall, off Waterway Square Place, sit several fantastic eateries well worth a visit. Fans of Italian fare can choose from Sorriso Modern Italian Kitchen at The Westin hotel and the classic New York pies at Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. Seafood and steak lovers can head to Landry’s Seafood House, Morton’s Grille, or Churrascos. You’ll find a traditional Irish pub atmosphere and fare at The Goose’s Acre, gourmet American pub grub at Bar Louie, and classic Tex-Mex at Cyclone Anaya’s. There are even more restaurants to be found in this area, so feel free to explore further (although some are temporarily closed due to COVID-19).

Other Eateries Nearby

On the north side of The Woodlands Mall, just off Lake Woodlands Drive, are several more tasty options for a sit-down meal. The popular, family-friendly franchises Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Chili’s Grill & Bar, and TGI Fridays offer casual dining, while Benihana provides Japanese cuisine prepared with flair at a teppanyaki grill, plus sushi and sashimi. And don’t miss House of Pies, with a bounty of fresh, homemade specialty and seasonal pies, cakes, and cookies, plus a menu packed with comfort-food favorites. Mmmmmm.

Most of the restaurants mentioned are offering takeout and curbside pickup, in addition to socially distanced onsite dining. So if you’re ready for a nice meal, take advantage of all this area has to offer. For more great lifestyle and entertainment information, visit the Olympus Auburn Lakes blog.
