One of Spring’s claims to fame is its incredible golf courses. Now’s the perfect time to enjoy them. Here are a few of our favorites.
Spring Valley Golf and Disc Golf
In 1993, this 9-hole regulation golf course opened, expanding with a 27-hole disc golf course in 2004. This course is surrounded by a beautiful wooded area, giving all visitors the chance to enjoy nature and the incredible scenery while doing what Spring Valley hopes you will do: Have fun! Be sure to call ahead in order to reserve a tee time, and check their website for all the additional activities they offer each week.
Willow Creek Golf Club
This is one of the most highly respected golf courses in the region. It features an 18-hole championship course, a 30-station practice range, chipping areas, and practice greens. They also have both casual and fine dining experiences on the premises. Aside from the amazing amenities, one of the most beloved attributes of this course is the way it is surrounded with a wooded perimeter, keeping out the hustle and bustle of Houston.
Augusta Pines Golf Club
You’ll find this beautiful 18-hole course right here in Spring. It features six target greens and sand bunkers, as well as stunning trees from oak to pine. And with 30 acres of lakes, you just can’t beat the natural beauty of this location. This is one of the best golfing experiences in the area.
Windrose Golf Club
Windrose blends the best of both worlds when it comes to the golfing experience with a top-notch, classy course and a super casual vibe. The course features plenty of water hazards and sand bunkering as well as majestic, mature trees along the fairway. They also have a pro shop and a trendy restaurant where you can grab a bite to eat after working up your appetite on the green.
Gleannloch Pines Golf Club
Owned by the same folks who run Augusta Pines, you can be certain this 27-hole course is of an equal caliber. This course was created in the style of the stunning greens in Scotland and Ireland and with its rolling fairways and abundant trees, you’ll definitely find yourself transported.
