Alamo City Festival
Come out and enjoy live music, food, vendors, face painting, and games for the whole family at the Alamo City Festival, held August 28 at the Treasure Event Center. Admission is just $10 and you can check out live performers including King Kyle Lee, Mista Tone, and more.
Outdoor Movie Series at Mission Marquee Plaza
Enjoy free outdoor movies at Mission Marquee Plaza this summer and fall! Bring your blankets, chairs, picnic dinners, and desserts for an unforgettable outdoor movie experience. Forget your food? Indulge in the onsite food trucks. Movies in August include the classic Ferris Bueller’s Day Off on August 19 and Legally Blonde on August 21.
Mötley Crüe/Def Leppard/Poison/Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
Take it back to your heavy metal rock roots with this classic lineup at The Stadium Tour, held August 21, featuring the amazing acts of the ’80s and so forth, Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, Poison, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts. Bring out your best rocker attire and dye that hair – this will be a night to remember.
Museum Market
Head on over to the San Antonio Museum of Art on August 14 for Museum Market, and enjoy a day exploring various vendors, local artisans, creative culinary, and more. Admission is free, so grab everyone you know and experience art and shopping in a fantastic outdoor, open setting.
