4 CAN'T-MISS FALL FESTIVALS COMING TO SAN ANTONIO

|

Fall season is in full effect here in San Antonio, which means festival season is upon us. From Día De Los Muertos celebrations to beer festivals, we’ve gathered up these top four can’t-miss events. Grab your boots and jacket, and let’s roll to the festivals, friends.

Día de los Muertos

The Day of the Dead has been long celebrated in Mexico and Latin American countries. It’s an occasion on which we celebrate and pay tribute to our departed friends and family. You can celebrate right here in San Antonio at the Día de los Muertos festival at Hemisfair. This free two-day event, held Oct. 23-24, brings together traditional art and culture with live music and entertainment. Live music, artwork, dance, live poetry, and one of the largest open-altar exhibitions you will ever witness are all part of the festivities. Get ready to pay respects and celebrate big at this nationally recognized festival.

San Antonio Beer Festival

Calling all beer lovers … San Antonio’s original beer fest is back and bigger than ever in 2021. In its 15th year, the San Antonio Beer Festival on Oct. 16 is packed with unique casks, one-of-a-kind collaborations, and features over 400 premium and craft beers from more than 100 breweries from around the world. Beyond the beer, guests will enjoy live music, games, food trucks, local vendors, and so much more. Cheers!

Beethoven Männerchor Oktoberfest

The Beethoven Halle und Garten is home to one of San Antonio’s best Oktoberfests! Its final weekend takes place Oct. 8-9, with a fully loaded schedule featuring live music, delicious German food, plenty of German beers on tap, and more. Break out your best Oktoberfest attire and get into character. This Beethoven Männerchor event does not disappoint.

BOOtanica Day at San Antonio Botanical Garden

On Oct. 23, the San Antonio Botanical Garden invites everyone to come out and experience the fall season at BOOtanica day. A wonderful event for the whole crew, guests can dress up in costume, trick or treat, and explore the creatures and garden in a whole new Halloween light.
