Shipley Do-Nuts 

At the end of the Great Depression, Lawrence Shipley, Sr., created a delicious recipe for gourmet donuts. He sold his treats wholesale for five cents a dozen. When Christine Nguyen decided to share her delectable treats with others, The Sweet Boutique Bakery opened its doors. She's a self-taught baker and cake designer who started by offering cupcakes, cookies, and other sweets. Her newest delight includes a baked mochi donut. It's made with rice flour and coconut milk and is a "plush, chewy bite of heaven." Flavors include pistachio rose, vanilla butter, and mango cream. You can order online for easy pickup.
