Taste Cultural Cuisines at Restaurants in Richmond

Through food, you can experience other cultures. When you want a new, exciting meal made with fresh ingredients and love, check out these locally owned restaurants just a short drive from our apartments in Richmond.

Pablo's Mexican Kitchen

The food at Pablo's Mexican Kitchen is some of the freshest you'll ever have. Ingredients come from the farm to the kitchen and then to your table. Bring your appetite because there's a lot to try. Start out with the appetizer trio which comes with guacamole, with queso, and "Orlando's dip" to accompany house-made tortilla chips. Then choose from seafood, enchiladas, fajitas, tacos and more. We bet you've never tried a crawfish quesadilla. Finish your meal with a sopapilla or churro. There are vegetarian options and many items are gluten-free. Wash it all down with a margarita or Pablo's Swirl (a frozen marg mixed with sangria).

Om Nom Cafe

Get a taste of Vietnam at the family owned Om Nom Cafe. Banh Mi is a sandwich with cucumber, pickled carrots, jalapenos, cilantro, and garlic aioli. You can choose grilled pork, chicken, or shrimp, bulgogi beef, or shredded chicken. They also have fried egg or tofu. Order grilled meats or bulgogi beef with rice or vermicelli noodles. You can also have authentic pho Friday through Sunday. Om Nom Cafe has a great selection of drinks too. The teas are so refreshing and you can add boba. Cool off with a frappe, smoothie, or slush.

Lomonte's Italian Restaurant and Bar

The ambience at Lomonte's Italian Restaurant and Bar is perfect for a romantic dinner, but you don't have to wear anything fancy to feel welcome. Start with calamari, bruschetta or toasted ravioli. Then choose an 8" or 12" pizza; you can design your own with fancy toppings like sun-dried tomatoes, caramelized onions, or capers. Of course the pasta is delicious, but they also have Eggplant Parmigiana, Pistachio Crusted Chicken, and Scallops Risotto. A cannoli or slice of chocolate ganache cake is the perfect ending to a delectable meal.

Grab a bite to eat at these restaurants after visiting the Fort Bend Museum. You'll learn all about local history and then you can experience the rich local culture.
