Have you ever wondered who the top grossing musicians of this century are? Or at least, so far? (We’re only 22 years in, after all.)

Here are the top five.

Britney Spears

Oops, she did it again, breaking more records and landing on the list of top-grossing musicians at No. 5, with eight of her nine albums dropping in 2000 or later. She’s also the first woman to have four albums go straight to No. 1 on the American chart, and the first solo artist to have a single on the Billboard charts and a No. 1 debut album at the same time.

Adele

It’s still early in the century and early in Adele’s career, so we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us, considering her album 25 is the fourth best-selling album of the century and her album 21 took the No. 1 spot on that list, further recognized as the No. 1 album of all time on the Billboard Top 200 Albums of All Time. We can’t wait to see how many more records she might break before 50 hits the charts.

Drake

This rapper has nine No. 1 songs, 10 No. 1 albums, and 54 top 10 singles. He also set two new records on Apple Music for most-streamed album in a day and biggest album debut. He’s sold 170 million records and is worth $180 million, landing him at No. 3 on this list.

Taylor Swift

Few will be surprised by Swift’s appearance here at No. 2. She’s a musical juggernaut whose momentum keeps her smashing through one record after another. She’s had 165 U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart entries, eight No. 1 songs, 30 top 10 songs, and all in all, the most charted songs in the U.S. She toppled Shania Twain’s record of 97 weeks at Billboard’s No. 1 Top Country Albums (Swift hit 99), and she even broke The Beatles’ U.K. Official Albums Chart record.

Eminem

Rounding off this list at No. 1 is this well-known rapper from Detroit. The Billboard Hot Rap Songs has featured a total of 65 of his songs with 31 making the top 10 and five reaching No. 1. Eleven of his albums have been streamed at least a billion times on Spotify, breaking their streaming record. He’s sold over 220 million albums.
