SATISFY YOUR SWEET TOOTH WITH DESSERTS AROUND MIDLAND

|

A little bit of sugar goes a long way. After a particularly hard day or week, rewarding yourself with one of your favorite sweet treats is a pretty good deal. Whether you prefer ice cream, frozen yogurt, or another type of sweet, there is something for you in this town. Check out our favorite dessert spots in Midland.

Swensen’s

A famous San Francisco ice cream shop, Swensen’s has been serving up one of the world’s best ice cream flavors since 1948. Today, the shop is found in cities all across the globe including right here in Midland, Texas! Famous for their old-school service and style, you now that when you go to Swensen’s, you will be treated right. The staff here follow the shop’s infamous motto that customers should be given three things: “quality, quantity, and value for their money.” That being said, their servings here are huge, extremely delicious, and won’t break the bank! Feeling like you want to splurge? Skip the ice cream cone and instead pick up one of their mouthwatering sundaes like the strawberries, banana & cream or the hot fudge bonanza!

Fountainville

Founded by a family of entrepreneurs and generations of business owners, Fountainville was founded on the principles of community. They often contribute to community organizations and projects such as local food banks, women’s shelters, and education initiatives. The shop hopes to create a space where visitors can come in and remember that they are able to enjoy the simpler things in life - like ice cream! Fountainville is old fashioned, yet modern with experimental flavors that are unique to the West Texas region. A local favorite is their Black Gold flavor, combing honey graham crackers, locally sourced honey, and food grade activated charcoal that can help stimulate detoxification throughout the body. The dark color nods to the history of the region with oil production and the local Texans who helped make it all possible.

Orange Leaf Yogurt

Not an ice cream fan? Head to Orange Leaf Yogurt, where you can find a colorful selection of experimental flavors and classics in a modern, convenient setting. Everything here is completely customizable from the flavors themselves, to the toppings and sauces that you put on top. You are charged by weight, so you can choose how much or how little you want through a self-serve arrangement. However, toppings are unlimited so you can completely indulge to your heart’s content with gummy worms, strawberries, cookie crumbles, or your preferred choice.

These are only a few of the local dessert spots where you can grab something sweet to indulge in. If you are looking for a new community, please contact us to learn more and schedule your own private tour today!
