ENJOY THE SUN: WHERE TO GO EXPLORING THIS JUNE

|

Looking for some outdoor adventures near Midland? Check out these three must-visit locales!

Comanche Trail Park

Located just over 26 miles from Sundance Creek, Odessa’s Comanche Trail Park has much to offer. Take the pup and hit the trails or spend a relaxing afternoon casting a line at the fishing pond. There are also three well-maintained disc golf courses, providing a great place to work on your throw.

Monahans Sandhills State Park

Head an hour southwest toward the southern Llano Estacado in Ward County and Winkler County to discover Monahans Sand Hills. This epic state park offers visitors 3,840 acres of dunes, peaks, and valleys to explore on foot or horseback. Remember to play it safe – the dunes heat up quickly during the summer.

Lake Colorado City State Park

Ready for a quick road trip? Set up camp or rent a cabin at this lakeside park and get away from it all for a while. Enjoy nature trails, scenic fishing spots, and kayak rentals for when you want to get out on the water. Be sure to reserve your site in advance.
