Midland Downtown Farmers Market (Recurring)
Stop by the Midland Downtown Farmers Market for some good eats and treats! Located on the landscaped grounds of the Museum of the Southwest, the market hosts a variety of vendors that offer fresh produce, drinks, artisanal products, and more. All products sold are grown and crafted by local farmers and artists, so you can feel good knowing you’re supporting the community. If you missed it this week, don’t worry! MDFM is open every Saturday, from 8 AM - 12 PM, through October.
Midland County Fair (Aug. 26-29)
The Midland County Fair is back! Featuring a carnival, rodeo events, indoor exhibition space, and more, this fun-filled annual event is packed with family-friendly activities and entertainment, including 34 amusement rides, 17 entertainers, and 376 farm animals. The fair will be held at the Midland County Horseshoe. Tickets are $5 each day or $10 after 5 PM on Saturday. Dates and hours are listed below.

Summer Mummers at the Midland Community Theatre (Recurring)
Who doesn’t love a bit of melodrama, mayhem, and hilarity? A production unlike any other, Summer Mummers has performed as the main fundraiser for Midland Community Theatre for 73 years. Audience participation is encouraged – so get your popcorn ready to throw at the villain! Performance dates and prices vary. Check out the theater’s official page for more information.
