SATISFY YOUR CANDY CRAVING AT SUSIE'S SOUTH FORTY CONFECTION

|

Midland is full of great eateries and unique shops. One particularly perfect destination is Susie's South Forty Confections, a sublime sweet shop just minutes from your apartment in Midland.

SUSIE'S SOUTH FORTY CONFECTIONS

The locals are raving about the delightful treats at Susie's South Forty Confections. This sweet spot has become so popular that customers are traveling from all over the state just to get a taste of Susie's infamous pralines and toffee. Whether you prefer creamy caramels, buttery toffee, or melt-in-your-mouth chocolate, you're sure to find something to satisfy your sweet tooth!

HISTORY

In 1991, Susie gathered up her unique recipes and opened a small candy factory. The very first candy she produced was the Texas Pecan Toffee. As if that wasn't good enough, she followed it up with her chewy Kicker® Pralines. Before long, word spread about the incredible confections coming out of Susie's kitchen, and eventually the whole operation was moved to an impressive facility in downtown Midland.

Before dabbling in candy, Susie was an avid dance teacher. She was passionate about sharing her knowledge of line dancing with students at the YMCA and Junior Coalition, among many others. She carried this passion into her new business, creating the Kickers® box as a replica of her beloved bright red cowboy boots.

Susie's South Forty Confections currently ships to all 50 states as well as 35 countries around the world. Susie was recently welcomed as a member of the "Texas Women's Hall of Fame" and has created delicious treats for the George W. Bush inaugural ball. The candy shop was featured on Food Network's television show "Unwrapped". Susie's has also received numerous awards, including "Best Fudge" and "Best Frozen Dessert" from the Austin Texas Fancy Foods Show.

THE TREATS

Susie's South Forty boasts 21 varieties of candy, all handmade with exquisite ingredients. The most popular confections include:
