There are all kinds of exciting events coming up in the Midland-Odessa region. Get out your calendar and write down these events so you won’t miss a thing.
Sandhill’s Stock Show and Rodeo
Get ready for one of the best rodeos in the region. This rodeo runs from Jan. 6 through 15 and features all your favorite events including barrel racing, steer roping, bull and saddle bronc riding, and steer wrestling.
Cinema Under the Stars
Get ready to have some fun, because this event is going to be epic. Head over to the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center on Jan. 13 for a sing-a-long movie event with 2008 musical classic Mama Mia! Absolute Bridal will be there loaning wedding dress samples for you to wear while you watch (and sing along with) the movie. Kendra Scott will be on hand selling jewelry from their latest collection. There will be lots of food trucks there before and during the screening so you can enjoy a delicious meal along with the movie. And best of all: this event – and the popcorn – are free!
Live at the Brewery
This event takes place on Jan. 15 from 7 to 11 PM, at The Brewery in Odessa. Listen to Whiskey Cult, and enjoy their bluesy, country songs in a live performance.
Midland County Livestock Show
Enjoy this three-day event, Jan. 13 through 16, at the Midland County Horseshoe Arena where you’ll get to see the local champion livestock and participate in several of the show’s offerings.
Camila
Head over to La Hacienda Event Center in Midland on Jan. 14 or 15 for a concert by this Mexican pop rock band. Their energetic, fresh sound has become a staple on the Texas music scene.
Tom Segura
Check out stand-up comedian Tom Segura this January and start out the year with a good laugh. His I’m Coming Everywhere World Tour stops in Midland on Jan. 26 at the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center. His last 100-city tour sold out – and this one is close to selling out, as well. Grab your tickets ASAP!
