Spring is here. It’s time to get outside and enjoy the warmth! Here are three West Texas events you don’t want to miss this month.
Parker McCollum
April 9, La Hacienda Event Center, Midland
April 10, Cook’s Garage, Lubbock
This young country music star from Conroe is making a pair of stops in West Texas during his coast-to-coast tour. McCollum’s musical style draws from blues, roots rock, soul, and folk rock. If you’re on the search for a fantastic post-pandemic show, look no further! Catch him April 9 in Midland or the next night in Lubbock.
Old Sorehead Trade Days
April 10-11, Downtown Stanton
This Stanton staple returns this month. True to its name, there’ll be a lot of trading going on, with more than 615 booths’ worth of vendors peddling wares of all types! You’ll find just about everything here – woodcrafts, jewelry, art, clothing, food. So much food. If you can’t make it this month, don’t fret. Old Sorehead Trade Days will be back in October.
Bustin’ for Badges Clay Shoot
April 15-16, Windwalker Farms,
While you may or may not be an avid clay shooter (you never know, right?), the Bustin’ for Badges Clay Shoot is a fun-filled way to spend an afternoon. Whether you enter yourself or just watch sharpshooters in action, this annual tournament is quite the spectacle. And it raises money for local law enforcement agencies.
