RAISE A GLASS AT THESE 3 KELLER BREW PUBS

|

Whether you’re looking for a pint on St. Patrick’s day, or just a fun place to enjoy a brew with some friends any time of year, you can’t go wrong with the hand-crafted beer at these three Keller, Texas, brew pubs.

Shannon Brewing Company

If you’re looking for a St. Patrick’s Day hangout in Keller, this is the place. Its fire brewing process came from an old brewhouse in Ireland, and the brewers say it caramelizes the sugars producing superior malty flavors. You can try it for yourself in one of several variations of Irish Red, the Hazelnut Chocolate Stout, and their Barrel Aged Lemon Head Sour. 20-plus beers will be on tap during the St. Patrick’s Day event from noon to 9 PM, along with live music, bagpipes, and food trucks. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, and include a pint glass, koozie, and a drink card for six 8-ounce pours or 3 full pints. You can also join in without a ticket and just pay as you go.

Brutal Beerworks

This craft brewery in North Richland Hills opened in June, 2019, and offers a wide selection of beers. Stout lovers will go for the Bourbon barrel-aged Into the Void with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. There are a number of options with fruity notes, like the Black Talon: Tropical Punch and Gusherz. There are also hazy pale ales, a German-style bock, hard seltzer, and many more. It’s worth getting some of your favorites in cans or bottles to go, as the artwork on the packaging is fun and eye-catching.

Soul Fire Brewing Company

This Roanoke brewing company is a little over 5 miles from Olympus Waterford in the Oak St. Food & Brew hall, and it’s all about big, robust beer. Soul Fire typically offers 10 to 12 of their own beers on tap, such as the Der Roanator bock, Flavus Maximus blonde ale, and the Mindshift IPA sour. They also showcase rare and popular beers from other local and regional brewers. During happy hour from 2 to 6 PM and 8 to 10 PM Tuesday through Friday, you’ll get $1 off all house-made beers. Score!
