Are you ready for the AutoRama? Its name says it all – this is a celebration of hot rods, trucks, imports, motorcycles, and more. If you love cars, they’ve got you covered.
Here are some highlights.
This year will feature three celebrity guests: Danny “The Count” Koker and Kevin Mack of Count’s Kustoms, and automobile designer Chip Foose. Koker is the owner of one of the most famous hot rod and chopper customization and restoration shops in the country, located in Las Vegas. Mack is his right-hand man. Foose, meanwhile, has made a name for himself through his company, Foose Design, Inc. His work is famous in the auto industry and the impact of his designs is obvious when you see that he has over a million followers on Instagram. You’ll get a chance to meet all three experts at this event.
Car Care Tips
This alone is worth the price of admission. Hosted by Meguiar’s, you’ll get access to tips that will help you keep your automobile in the best shape possible. A huge part of this event is the educational content, so participants can learn as much as possible about their automobile – the one they have or the one they hope to have someday …
The Awards Shows
You’ll also be able to enjoy several award presentations (and perhaps enter them if you make it under the deadline) including the Casi Cup, the Achievement Awards presented to “streetable” vehicles in multiple categories, the Rising Star Awards for young people ages 15 to 25, and the coveted Master Builder Award presented for an entry that used little or no professional building assistance. And don’t forget the Legend Cup award, for style, design, and quality craftsmanship. This award also happens to come with a $10,000 check!
Shorty’s Hydraulic Lowrider Showcase
If you can’t get enough of lowriders, you’re in luck – AutoRama will be featuring an entire showcase of them! This is a highlight of the event for many. You’ll get to see lowrider cars, trucks, motorcycles, and sometimes even bicycles and pedal cars.
