Christmas in Texas is what you make of it. Get festive this season by joining in on the fun at these four community events in Keller.
Christmas in the Park
Mark your calendars for this can't-miss holiday event at Independence Park East on Dec. 11. Christmas in the Park kicks off the season with the town tree lighting ceremony, Mayor Fleury reading ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, pictures with Santa, and libations! There will also be crafts, raffles, face painting, and live music.
Yule Ball
If you’d rather ditch the outdoor festivities and hang out with your fellow book nerds at the Keller Public Library, you can attend the Yule Ball on Dec. 11. Dress in your finest robes – Harry Potter-inspired or elegant and refined are both acceptable – and prepare for a night of dancing, drinks, crafts, and wizardry. And don’t be like Ron and Harry and wait until the last minute to ask a date.
Movie Night: Home Alone
Gather round for popcorn, holiday vibes, and the best Christmas movie of all time. Keller Public Library will be hosting a movie night for all to enjoy on Dec. 27. People of all ages can munch on buttery snacks while they watch Kevin McAllister thwart those awful burglars in unique and hilarious ways. Laughter is expected and encouraged, so plan to join in on the fun, get cozy, and watch a beloved seasonal film.
