If you’re looking to give back to the community this back-to-school season, there are a few different ways to help around town. Here is how to pay it forward in Keller.
Back-To-School Supply Drive
On Sunday, Aug. 8, you can stop by the Back-to-School Supply Drive pop-up shop. Bring a few extra supplies and stay to enjoy the food truck, live DJ, and vendors onsite. Who says helping can’t be fun too? General admission is free, or you can purchase tickets to be a vendor at the event as well. It all starts at 3 PM at T. Alexandria Medical Spa in Dallas.
Shoes That Fit
This year you can give back by giving the gift of shoes. Young children grow out of their kicks quick, which creates a need for some. Shoes That Fit is a great way to organize a shoe drive for your local community. Grab a few friends, 10 pairs of shoes (or more), and start giving back.
Donors Choose
Another great way to give back this school season is to check in with individual classroom needs. Donors Choose is a crowdfunding platform that makes it easy to find classrooms that need supplies, learning aids, or are trying to raise money for a specific reason. Browse the different donation options and support robotics, reading, arts, and more at a school nearby.
