The Best Disc Golf Courses Around Keller

If you've never tried disc golf, you don't know what you're missing. Disc golf is easy to learn, it's a terrific way to get some exercise, and it's fun to play. The rules are similar to regular golf, but instead of a golf ball and clubs, the players throw a disc into baskets. So, if you're looking for a great way to spend some time outdoors now that the weather's warming up, you should check out the fantastic local disc golf courses around our Keller apartments.

Arcadia Park

At Arcadia Park, you'll have an extensive, open 18-hole course to play on, with scattered trees and just a few wooded areas. This exceptionally well-maintained course allows carts. They welcome your furry friends, too. Plus, it's open to the public, and there's no fee to play here. But make sure you keep an eye out for poison ivy.

Heritage Park

Heritage Park is an 18-hole course designed by World Champion Eric McCabe. This beautiful course is on 25 acres of Texas’ most scenic and pristine landscapes. It offers plenty of terrains, from flat fairways to creek beds, and even rocky outcroppings. It was designed with intermediate and advanced skill levels in mind, but beginners will also love the challenge. 

Saddle Hills 

Saddle Hills is a beautiful 18-hole disc golf course built in a multi-use park, complete with a quaint little creek running through it. This course is challenging for all skill levels, with some elevated terrain. It's open to the public seven days a week, 6 AM-11 PM, so you can enjoy a round of disc golf almost anytime you'd like. The course does not allow carts so you will need to walk a bit.

Get out there and have a blast learning to play disc golf. Once you've worked up an appetite, you can stop by one of the best burger joints in town and grab a bite to eat to take back to your Keller apartment.
