Founded in 1934, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden draws visitors from around the world with its picturesque scenery and fascinating exhibits. Rose Garden

Now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Rose Garden has delighted visitors since the early 1930s. True to its name, it is home to hundreds of colorful roses in an array of varieties. As you make your way along the winding paths, you'll also come across a reflection pond. It's one of the garden's most notable water features and is where you'll often spot turtles soaking up the sun. 

Cactus Garden 

A prickly destination, the Cactus Garden showcases cacti and succulents native to North and South America. One of the many highlights includes the lace hedgehog cactus. Found throughout the Southwest United States and the Northeast region of Mexico, they bloom with bright pink flowers and yellow centers. The pattern of the spines resembles lace, and this cactus usually grows to eight inches in height. 

Rock Springs Cafe 

When it's time for a break, head to the garden's Rock Springs Cafe. It's where the chefs create flavorful bistro-style fare made from the finest, freshest ingredients. Guests always receive fast, friendly service, and you can enjoy your meal in the dining room or take in the sights from the covered patio. Offerings include veggie tacos, pimento burgers, and turkey bacon avocado sandwiches.
