Whether you’re a holiday season fanatic or just looking for something to occupy your time this winter, we’re bringing you the ultimate list of things to see and do around Katy! Check out these four awesome holiday-inspired activities in your area.
1. Pick Out a Tree
Make your way over to Dewberry Farm and cut down your very own tree! Available until december 13th, you can visit the farm here and pick the perfect tree! They even supply the saw and transportation (via wagon ride) out to the tree farm and back.
2. Tour Twinkling Lights
Dewberry Farm steals the show again with a festive Christmas Village scene for the holiday season, called the magical Trail of Lights. See the lights, but stay for the food, wagon rides, and handmade treats!
3. Katy Old Fashioned Christmas Festival
Happening in Historic Downtown Katy from 10am to 5pm on Saturday December 11th, this festival is your one-stop-shop for all things holiday gifts. Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, this annual festival is the perfect place to browse and purchase items from local vendors and in-town small businesses. From produce and handmade goodies, to a beer garden and food trucks – this is the place to be for the holiday season!
4. Have a Staycation
We aren’t talking about the usual staycation – you know, the one where you veg out in your jammies all day and binge watch shows. We’re talking about staying somewhere close by in Katy to switch things up during this holiday season! Pass up on the hours-long road trip and ditch the germ-y airplane flight. Check out these awesome local spots, perfect for a weekend (or longer!) staycation.
