Are you ready for one of the best events in Katy? March 26 is the Katy Taste Fest at Typhoon Texas, and it’s going to be as delicious as the name implies. Here’s the lowdown so you can make the most of The Fest.
Food
This event will bring together 30 beloved Katy restaurants, giving visitors the opportunity to literally taste everything the city has to offer. The world cuisine available includes American, Chinese, Thai, Italian, Mexican, and Indian. Participating restaurants include Pablo’s Restaurant & Club, La Argentina, Tony’s Italian Deli, Babin’s Seafood House, and Thai Spice. And of course, you will find a huge selection of craft beers and wines to sample.
Activities
The Katy Taste Fest will be hosting a silent auction with all proceeds going toward helping the community. You’ll find everything there from gift baskets to a trip to Cabo. There’s also a Kid’s Zone with games, activities, and face and balloon artists. Between all that and the delicious food to sample, you’ll have plenty to do.
Entertainment
Do you love watching people cook and learning new tips on becoming a better home cook? If so, you’ll be thrilled to hear that the Katy Taste Fest will feature many cooking demonstrations, so you can learn from the pros. And when you take your overflowing plate of delicious foods to sit down and eat, you can enjoy the accompanying live music provided by local musicians.
