Yellow

Just like the sun, yellow is hot, hot, hot in fashion and design right now. For fall, skew towards rich, saturated shades of gold, saffron, and mustard, and incorporate pops of this bright color as an accent. Knit is the “it” texture this fall, and the chunkier, the better! Knits are everywhere, including on-trend home decor. A throw blanket is an obvious option, and it’s especially nice in a super-soft yarn that you’ll love to snuggle under. How about a knitted pouf to rest your feet on? You can also get a similar vibe from a macrame wall hanging that combines the chunky knit trend with boho chic appeal. Or pamper your bare feet with a rug in a chunky sweater knit style.

This one’s probably not surprising as more of us continue working and learning from home. In many cases, the guest room doubles as your office, or the living room is also a homework station. They provide a sense of separation without requiring any construction, keep your personal belongings or messy kitchen out of sight during your Zoom meetings, and keep your office mess out of sight when you have company over.
