TREAT YOURSELF TO SUNDAY BRUNCH AT VIA REÁL

|

There’s something magical about Sunday brunch and one of the best in Irving is at Via Reál, less than a 10-minute drive from Olympus Las Colinas. Since 1985, this eatery in Las Colinas Plaza on North MacArthur Boulevard has been serving up delicious Mexican and Southwestern cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere with impeccable service. But if you haven’t tried their brunch buffet yet, you’re missing out! Priced at $28 for adults and $9 for children aged 12 and under, it’s all your sweet and savory brunch favorites, elevated with a little Southwestern flair. Here are a few of the items we love most from the brunch menu.

Unlimited Mimosas & Poinsettias

Nothing says “brunch” like mimosas! At Via Reál, the adults in your group can enjoy unlimited mimosas and poinsettias (champagne with triple sec and cranberry juice) with their meal. Yay! You may want to take a ride share or bring a designated driver if you plan on having more than one or two.

The Breakfast Station

This is the heart of brunch at Via Reál, and it’s got everything you want and more. There are waffles and omelets made to order, French toast, breakfast burritos, beef chilaquiles, and hash browns. Don’t miss the Southwestern eggs Benedict with queso sauce in place of the traditional hollandaise – it’s crazy delicious.

The Lunch Station

There’s a large selection of lunch entrees and sides to choose from, too. They can vary from week to week, but expect a carving station with several meats to choose from, a variety of beef and seafood dishes, Via Reál’s amazing chicken and beef fajitas, enchiladas, a cornucopia of fresh fruit, and a salad bar.

Don’t Forget Dessert

In case you didn’t get a big enough sugar high from the powdered sugar, maple syrup, and chocolate sauce on your waffles, hit the dessert station before you leave. Or maybe just start there! The offerings vary, but you could find key lime pie, caramel pecan cheesecake, chocolate raspberry cake, or any number of other decadent treats. Our pick: the vanilla bean flan with its creamy custard and caramel sauce.

Brunch at Via Reál is served from 11 AM to 2 PM every Sunday, with the last seating at 1:45 PM and reservations are definitely a good idea. Buen provecho! You can check out more great dining and entertainment recommendations at the Olympas Las Colinas blog.
