ENHANCE CULINARY SKILLS WITH COOKING CLASSES AROUND IRVING

|

Is one of your New Year's resolutions to learn how to prepare new recipes?

If so, head to one of the following cooking schools that offer fun, hands-on classes:

Cozymeal

Known for providing one of the best culinary experiences, Cozymeal pairs local consumers with top chefs for cooking classes and food tours. Some of the chefs have worked as caters, while others have served dishes at the world's best Michelin-stared restaurants. They all offer a laid-back atmosphere, and after class, students can enjoy the food they prepared together.

One of the recurring sessions not to be missed is Thai Cooking 101. It's taught by Chef Taylor who has visited Thailand to learn the cuisine's cooking fundamentals, and the class takes place in her home. As she shares stories about her exciting travels, she helps students make crispy beef satay, shrimp pad Thai, and pineapple red curry & steamed rice.

Central Market Cooking School

The motto at the Central Market Cooking School is "Learning Has Never Tasted So Good." The fun classes are led by both the expert staff and visiting celebrity chefs, and they teach things such as knife skills and cutting-edge culinary techniques. One of the upcoming classes is “Cooking with Cast Iron” on January 23rd. Students learn how to season cast iron before preparing chicken fried steak and cream gravy in a skillet. Other menu items include whipped mashed potatoes and blueberry cobbler.

The Cookery

At The Cookery, students enjoy interactive classes focusing on regional and international cuisine. They focus on incorporating the season's flavors into each dish and are led by talented instructors who share cooking secrets while helping everyone prepare a three or four-course dinner. Classes in February include “Pasta Perfecto,” “Sushi Arigato,” and “Taste of the Mediterranean.”

In addition to these cooking schools, our apartments in Irving, Texas are also near fun cultural attractions and relaxing spas. To call our community home, please contact us to arrange a private tour where you can see all we have to offer firsthand.
