See What the Public Library in Frisco Has to Offer
At the Frisco Public Library, the mission is to "inspire intellect, curiosity, and imagination." Whether you want to find new authors, stream movies, or learn a new language, the library can help you with these things and more. Here is some of what you can discover near our Frisco apartments:
Books Set in Texas
Kick back with a good read set in the Lone Star State. One of the many offerings includes Lie Still by Julia Heaberlin. Set in the fictional town of Clairmont, this suspense novel follows Emily Page and her husband as they move from Manhattan. She meets a group of secretive women, and soon, her new friend Caroline Warwick mysteriously disappears. Now Emily, who has secrets of her own, is receiving threats, and as the truth about Caroline comes to light, she realizes whoever came for Caroline is now after her.
If learning a new language is on your bucket list, cross it off with Mango. It offers over 70 languages, and with real-life conversations, you'll be speaking like a native in no time. The lessons include critical thinking, memory-building exercises and culture notes to give you "a more profound understanding of your chosen language." Study French, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and more.
Undead & UnRead Book Club
The Undead & UnRead Book Club welcomes anyone 18 and older who enjoys reading fantasy, science fiction, horror, steampunk, and paranormal genres.
