JUMP START THE NEW YEAR AT 3 OF OUR FAVORITE FRISCO COFFEE SHOPS

|

There’s something about the smell of the roasted coffee beans, the sound of the espresso machine, and maybe a yummy baked good (or two) that draws coffee lovers back to their favorite coffee shops again and again. Whether you’re new to town or just love exploring, here are some of the Olympus Boulevard team’s go-to coffee spots in Frisco. Jump-start the New Year with a delicious cup of java from one of these great local hangouts.

Renew Coffee N Bakery

Not only is Renew Coffee N Bakery (8880 Coleman Blvd.) just a 5 minute walk from Olympus Boulevard right across Simpson Plaza, their wide assortment of baked goods and decorated cakes look gorgeous and taste crazy delicious too. So head through the blue doorway and prepare to be wowed. Whether you’re after an iced mocha, a dirty matcha, a Spanish latte, or more, they can hook you up. Try some Coconut Latte Roll or Strawberry Cake on the side.

Summer Moon

Using organic coffee beans that are hand-roasted daily using an historical technique that involves a wood-fired oven and the pedal power of a stationary bicycle to turn the roasting machine, Summer Moon (6943 Main Street) brings unique coffee flavors to downtown Frisco. Founded in Austin, the Frisco location invites you to settle into its funky historic space, restored with hip lighting, brick walls, and exposed ductwork. Try one of their signature coffee drinks made with their silky sweet “Moon Milk.” We recommend the Nitro Cold Brew or the Nitro Steamer with the Moon Milk.

The Aussie Grind

Located a little further away in the Frisco Gate mall, The Aussie Grind (3939 Preston Road, Ste. 120) is primarily a breakfast and lunch cafe, although they also open for dinner Thursday through Sunday. They serve a mean cup of coffee with some Australian flair from their solid menu of hot and cold coffee drinks that are beautifully presented. There’s also juices, smoothies, teas, and some boozy options too. Bring your appetite and tuck into the food, whether you’re in the mood for sweet or savory, breakfast or lunch. There’s even some Aussie-style prawns and classic fish and chips.

Whether you grab something to go, or settle in to soak up the relaxed vibes, enjoy your next java fix at one of these great Frisco coffee shops, and drop by the office to let us know your favorite coffee spots. To find other recommended local hangouts, check out more of our blog posts.
