Shop for Locally Produced Goods at the Frisco Rotary Farmers Market
Called a hidden gem, the Frisco Rotary Farmers Market opened in 1987 to showcase the goods of local farmers and artisans. It's where you'll find everything from fresh fruit to handmade soap. The market welcomes shoppers on Saturday mornings, and the products come from less than eight hours away from North Texas. Here are a few of the vendors you'll discover near our apartments in Frisco:
Pound Cake Experts
For a sweet treat, stop by Pound Cake Experts. Founder Sandy Duncan began baking with her mom at a young age. She learned secret recipes and how to think outside the box. Today, Sandy enjoys sharing her scratch-made creations with the Frisco community. Cake flavors include strawberry banana, apple cinnamon, and peanut butter vanilla.
A family business, TKO Soaps is run by a mom and her teenage daughter. They make the soap by hand. Each scent features the finest ingredients and cures for four to six weeks to create a milder soap bar. Choices include coconut lime verbena, eucalyptus mint, and creamy chocolate strawberry. Other items include body butter, bath bombs, and more.
3 Sons Salsa
Whether you like your salsa mild, hot, or somewhere in between, 3 Sons Salsa has you covered. The owner uses recipes just like her mom used to make. She named the company after her three boys, and her mission is to feed people quality food made with fresh ingredients. Flavors include Mama's medium, peach, and campfire roasted.
After visiting the Frisco Rotary Farmers Market, explore the city’s best resale shops. The selection frequently changes, and you might find everything from vintage furniture to designer clothing.
