Experience the largest choreographed lights and music show in North Texas at the 16th annual Christmas in the Square event from November 27, 2020, through January 4, 2021. This classic holiday spectacle in Frisco Square promises holiday cheer filled with old favorites and new surprises, and it’s just a short walk from Olympus Boulevard.
See An Incredible Light & Music Display
Walk or drive through the square to see an amazing display of more than 180,000 lights and 200 dancing snowflakes. There’s also a spectacular color-changing canopy that’s new for 2020. Tune into 107.3 FM on your vehicle’s radio or listen to the music piped through speakers in the square as you immerse yourself in the glittering presentation.
More Holiday Fun
While you’re at Frisco Square, you can also shop for holiday gifts or grab a bite to eat. There’s a Christmas tree lot operated by Scout Troop 51, selling Fraser Firs, Douglas Firs, and Scotch Pines ranging from 5 to 12 feet tall. Lace up your skates and hit the outdoor ice rink located along Main and Coleman. Skating costs $15 per person and advanced reservations and ticket purchases are required in order to allow social distancing.
A Toys for Troops toy drive will also be underway through December 17, in conjunction with the nonprofit Operation Once in a Lifetime. Donate new, unwrapped toys or clothing items at drop boxes located throughout the square.
When & Where
The Christmas in the Square light show runs from 6 to 10 PM daily, from November 27 through January 4 at Frisco Square, and is free to the public.
