New Cocktail Recipes for Your Next Party or Gathering

If you're tired of serving the same old drinks for every party, like boring beer or pre-mixed seltzers, then you'll want to read on. We've done some research, and we've come up with some yummy new cocktail recipes for residents of our apartments in Fort Worth. Take a look and enjoy, but please remember to drink responsibly!

Butterfinger Cocktail

If you're a fan of rich, creamy drinks, you'll love the Butterfinger Cocktail. All it takes to make this drink is five simple ingredients. You'll need 1 ounce of vodka, Irish cream, Buttershots, coffee liqueur (like Kahlua), and chocolate or caramel syrup. For this serving size, it's best to make this cocktail in a rocks glass. Fill the glass with ice and drizzle with your chocolate or caramel sauce. Then, combine your other ingredients, shake well, and strain over your glass. You can garnish this creamy delight with whipped cream and a cherry if you're feeling fancy.

Tequila Sunrise

The Tequila Sunrise is the way to go for a classic tequila cocktail. You'll only need 1 1/2 ounces of tequila, 3 ounces of orange juice, and a splash of grenadine. No mixing is required for this one, but you'll want to create this beautiful drink in a highball glass, so you can see the "sunrise" effect. Fill your glass with ice, then pour the tequila and orange juice over the ice. Slowly add the grenadine. You can garnish your gorgeous cocktail with an orange slice and a cherry.

The Blue Monster

The Blue Monster is a sweet, fruity-flavored drink that packs a punch! This recipe calls for 1 ounce of vodka, rum, lemonade, and lemon-lime soda (like Sprite). You'll also need a splash of blue Curacao. Fill a rocks glass with ice, pour your vodka and rum over the ice, and add your splash of blue Curacao. Pour in the lemonade and top off your glass with lemon-lime soda. Use a slice of lime to garnish your blue masterpiece.
