Fresh produce on display at a farmers market near The Davis in Fort Worth, Texas

If you run errands on Saturday mornings, then don't miss the Cowtown Farmers Market.

It's open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and features farmers and artisans who believe in offering quality, local products.

Vendors include:

Ash Creek Farms

Ash Creek Farms calls Azle home, and it's a family owned and operated business that produces high-quality beef, chicken, and eggs. The meat comes from Angus steers that were raised on grass and hay diets, while the chickens are free to roam the pasture.

B&G's Garden

Owned by Ben Walker and Greg Johnson, B&G's Garden is known for growing some of the best produce in Parker County. Depending on the season, their crops include onions, asparagus, and Kiowa blackberries.

The Black Rooster Cafe & Bakery

The Black Rooster is Fort Worth's premier bakery and cafe, and it's where the bakers focus on creating from scratch products. They only use quality ingredients, and choices include cinnamon cream cheese buns, salted caramel macarons, and peanut butter cookies.

Latte Da Dairy

Latte Da Dairy produces award-winning cheeses with the milk from Nubian and Lamancha dairy goats. The owners believe in sustainably creating a superior product, and they use time-honored techniques to transform the goats' milk into handcrafted cheeses. Choices include feta, gouda, and pepper jack.
