Have a Good Time at the Best Beer Gardens Around Fort Worth

A beer garden is an outdoor area, usually attached to a bar or brewery, and surrounded by trees and flowers. Beer gardens are a relatively recent thing here in America, but they actually originated in Germany all the way back in the 1800s. With the warmer weather finally here, it's the perfect way for The Davis residents to have a good time. Check out a few of our favorite spots near our apartments in Fort Worth:

Second Rodeo Brewing

Brought to you by the amazing folks at Truck Yard, Second Rodeo Brewing is an awesome brewery and beer garden that prides itself on its real Texan style. With a design inspired by country music renegades and the Texas Prison Rodeo, this beer garden is a place where even Willie Nelson would fit in. They have tons of brews to choose from, like Barrel Queen Blonde and Lemon Cucumber Sour. They also have fabulous food, with a dozen different types of wings to try, both steak and chicken nachos, and Philly cheesesteak on the menu. With a spot right in the famous Stockyards, this place is super easy to find. 

Smokestack 1948

Smokestack 1948 is an amazing open-air-style beer garden. Their menu boasts 14 different delicious beers on tap. They have a delicious food truck right there on-site, where you can choose from barbecue, burgers, or pizza. They offer their guests both indoor and outdoor seating to enjoy their daily live music, and they even have an arcade. If you're feeling a little musical, then you won't want to miss Karaoke Wednesdays.

Maple Branch Craft Brewery

Maple Branch Craft Brewery is more of a traditional type of beer garden. They have a huge menu of beers to order from, offering everything from American lagers to red ales, and just about everything in between. If you're looking for a bite to eat with your beer, then you have to try one of their giant Bavarian pretzels with beer cheese.
