What’s that? Warmer weather, longer days, and fresh cut grass? Spring is springing and we’re feeling all the vibes. If you’re like us, this time of year, you just start craving the sight of freshly potted plants and a bright, clean living space. Luckily, there are a bunch of great gardening and home improvement stores in our neighborhood of Fort Worth. Check out a few of our favorites for all of your upcoming springtime projects.
Premier Nursery
This adorable, family-owned nursery shop is just down the street from your apartment at The Davis. Here, you’ll find all sorts of flowers, plants, and trees that are sure to make your green thumb sing. Whether you’re looking to create a small kitchen herb garden or plant some seasonal flowers out on your personal patio or balcony, they’ve got the best selection at a super fair price.
Lowes
Good ‘ol trusty Lowes. You know they have your back with a stocked nursery section, but if you’re feeling the creative bug, they have all the supplies for that too. From wood working projects to painting to DIY decor, you’ll find it all here. Craft on, friend.
Chambers Nursery & Garden Center
Cross under Highway 161 and you’ll find yourself at the beautiful Chambers Nursery & Garden Center. We love going here because the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Not sure which indoor plant can survive living on the windowsill in the Texas sun? They gotcha. Confused about which soil is best for your little outdoor garden? Not to worry. Make the short drive over to visit them and you’ll see what we mean.
Calloway's Nursery
Dreamy, dreamy, dreamy. We love visiting Calloway’s Nursery in North Arlington. Their seasonal displays are fantastic and so worth it to come check out. Out of everywhere, this spot is our favorite place for beautiful pots. If your plant child is looking for an upgrade or a new home, this is definitely the place to find it.
The apartments at The Davis are surrounded by great gardening shops, there’s no doubt. We’d love to hear about all of your spring projects, so be sure to stop by to share what you’re up to. Be sure to check out our blog for more local tips and lifestyle advice!
