Here at The Davis, we love the fall! And we know you do, too. To celebrate, we’re holding a Thanksgiving brunch – and giving thanks for all the things we hold dear about our favorite time of the year.
The Fall Foliage
Nothing compares to beautiful fall leaves. The vibrant colors transform even the most ordinary of settings into something truly magical. Looking for places around town to take in the fall foliage in all of its glory? We have a few recommendations:
- Marion Sansom Park - Put on your hiking boots. Marion Sansom Park offers hiking and mountain-biking trails through forestland with gorgeous vistas.
- Oakmont Park - Enjoy a scenic stroll on this park’s paved trails, shaded by towering oak trees bursting with color.
- Fort Worth Water Gardens - From the picturesque waterfalls to the impressive cedars, downtown’s urban oasis truly delivers.
- Fort Worth Botanic Garden - Talk about scenic views. No matter where you turn, you’ll see stunning colors of every hue. Be sure to check out the Japanese Garden’s exquisite maples!
The Falling Temperatures
Let’s face it: Sometimes summer overstays its welcome. The cooler temperatures provide the perfect weather to get out there, explore, and breathe in the fresh air. Take this opportunity to go see the local outdoor sites you’ve been wanting to visit.
All the Good Eats
Perhaps the best part about fall is the excuse to go all out on the cooking! Join us Nov. 20 for a Thanksgiving brunch, from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Come by the clubroom to enjoy a meal, try some holiday-inspired beverages, and put together Thanksgiving crafts. Consider it practice for Turkey Day!
