WHERE TO FIND THE BEST COFFEE NEAR THE CULTURAL DISTRICT & DOWNTOWN FORT WORTH

|

Ahh – that first heavenly sip of java in the morning, or that essential pick-me-up that keeps you going through the dreaded mid-afternoon slump. Coffee lovers know that all caffeinated brews were not created equal, so here’s Olympus 7th Street Station’s roundup of some of our favorite coffee cafes near the Cultural District and Downtown Fort Worth.

Vaquero Coffee Co.

You’ll love the ambiance at Vaquero Coffee Co. (109 Houston St.), located at the back of the historic Joe Daiches Credit Jewelers building. The exposed brick, comfy leather couches, and glass-encased storefront make it a great hangout spot. The expert baristas can make all your faves, as well as house signatures like the Horchata Latte and seasonal specials such as a Peppermint Mocha. Plus, they have a selection of yummy breakfast sandwiches and sweet treats, and you can get their coffee beans or ground coffee to go if you want to brew your own or give it as a gift. Currently open 6:30 AM to 3 PM, Monday through Friday, and 7:30 AM to 3 PM on weekends.

Buon Giorno Coffee

Located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, Buon Giorno Coffee (500 W. Seventh St., Suite 140) is a micro-roastery and cafe modelled on European coffee houses. This cafe prides itself on its cappuccino, espresso, and French press beverages, made with beans sourced from around the world and blended and roasted locally in small batches. They also offer sandwiches, pastries, and desserts, and they sell their beans to go, so you can enjoy Buon Giorno at home or in the office. Currently open 6 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM Saturday, and 8 AM to 6 PM Sunday.

Brewed

Billed as the “locals’ living room,” Brewed (801 W. Magnolia Ave.) is a destination and experience in and of itself. Filled with hip, eclectic decor, there’s a full chef-inspired menu featuring breakfast all day, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, and daily specials – not to mention Sunday brunch. And when it comes to coffee, Brewed will keep you thoroughly caffeinated. From drip and press beverages to espresso offerings, nitro cold brew, and even coffee soda, you’ll find a coffee drink for every mood and palate. P.S. They also serve tea. Currently open from 8 AM to 3 PM daily.

Drink Up, Perk Up & Enjoy

Before heading out to get your caffeine fix, check with each location to verify hours of operation, any health-related restrictions, and the availability of options such as delivery or curbside pickup that may currently be in effect.
