Winter has arrived and it’s high time to start planning your beach escape. If you are itching for soft sand and an ocean view (and we know you are), we’re here to help. Here are some good deals to popular beach spots from Dallas/Fort Worth Airport.

Fort Lauderdale

Spirit Airlines has non-stop flights from DFW to Fort Lauderdale for reasonable prices. In just a few hours, you can be cruising along The Strip with its upscale boutiques and restaurants, or enjoying a fruity drink on Hollywood Beach. Note that bringing a carry-on is extra on Spirit, so check the final price before booking.

Miami

In Miami, you get a beach destination and a hub for eclectic arts and culture. Head to Little Havana, or the beautiful Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, or just spend your day people-watching on Miami Beach. American Airlines offers several non-stop flights daily and you can always find a great fare if you are flexible.

Cancun

In just 2.5 hours you can be taking in the beautiful beaches and warm waters off of Cancun, Mexico. One of the hottest beach destinations in the world, Cancun offers everything from thrilling nightclubs to relaxed boating excursions, and of course, a gorgeous beach. American Airlines flies non-stop from DFW for reasonable prices, and you can often find last-minute deals at popular resorts.

San Diego

It may not be warm enough to jump in the ocean, but San Diego has so much to offer other than just beautiful beaches. Head to the world-famous San Diego Zoo or tour the USS Midway. You can still end your day overlooking the ocean with a fabulous seafood dinner. If you can’t find a good fare out of DFW, try looking at Southwest Airlines out of Love Field.
