For authentic, made-from-scratch Italian fare, put Ilario’s in your rotation of go-to’s. This spot has it all – an endless list of pasta dishes, hulking sub sandwiches and calzones, creative pizzas, meaty lasagna, inventive salads, and more. You can even build your own pasta dishes, or choose from some of their regular customers’ creative concoctions. Ilario’s is a must-visit.

Artipasta

This awesome food truck in Thicket Food Park is worth the trip to South Austin. They serve up crazy-good gnocchi, an amazing casarecce dish, and unbeatable lasagna and tagliatelle dishes drenched in some of the best meat sauce around.
