Buda School of Music

A local fixture since 2010, the Buda School of Music offers lessons for all ages and abilities. Owner Ruben Barbosa enjoys sharing his passion for music. He believes that music instruction should inspire creativity and be built on a solid foundation. When he isn't teaching, you will likely find him on stage at a local church where he plays the guitar and drums. Instruments include the drums, ukulele, and piano. Both in-person and online classes are available.

Howlinfish School of Guitar

Offering a comfortable, creative setting, the Howlinfish School of Guitar is a fun place to bring out your inner rock star. Founder Mark Fisher started playing the guitar at fourteen. He later relocated to Austin and is now one of the most successful guitar teachers in the city. Students learn an array of genres. No previous experience is necessary, and all you need to get started is a playable guitar and an electronic tuner.

Allegro School of Music

One of our favorite music schools around Buda, the Allegro School of Music has instructors that boast years of experience. They're university trained and allow students to work at their own pace. Instruments include the violin, bass, and guitar. Additionally, Allegro also offers practice rooms where you can work on your skills between classes.
