Capital Aquariums

Capital Aquarium prides itself as Buda's best tropical fish store. It has a wide selection of marine fish and coral. Interactive touch tanks let visitors get acquainted with different animals, such as puffins. The staff also provides educational sessions.

The Meadows Center for Water and the Environment

This Center has been the locals' favorite since its establishment in 1946. The highlights here are the glass-bottom boat tours of the spectacular Spring Lake. The lake features endangered species, and therefore visitors are prohibited from fishing. The tour guides also offer educational activities to reawaken the bond between humans and nature.
