Lakeshore Gille is a locally owned restaurant renowned for its casual lakefront dining experience. The Barclift family has welcomed guests for more than forty years, and the atmosphere is perfect for date night or a fun evening with friends. In the kitchen, the chefs prepare original variations of American favorites, and all of the meals are made using fresh ingredients. The chicken and waffles are found on the brunch menu which is served on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Food Works

When Food Works opened in 2006, it quickly became one of Chattanooga's favorite dining destinations. It was named the city's best new restaurant, and diners find it's housed in the historic Signal Knitting Mill. The casual atmosphere features exposed brick and colorful paintings, while the menu highlights progressive Southern cuisine with global influences. The chefs serve the chicken and waffles on the weekends, and drink choices include champagne and mimosas.

Puckett's

Puckett's roots date back to the 1950s, and it has built a name by offering live music and delicious Southern staples. The Chattanooga location opened in 2014, and it overlooks the Tennessee Aquarium. It was the company's first expansion outside of Middle Tennessee, and it features a casual atmosphere and friendly service. On the menu, guests find an array of items including Cajun chicken & waffles. The dish is served with a side salad and can be enjoyed with an old-fashioned milkshake.
