4 EASY WEEKNIGHT MEALS TO MAKE IN YOUR SLOW COOKER

If only we could snap our fingers and have dinner done, with little effort, right when we finish a long work day. Oh wait, it is possible! With the help of a slow cooker, save time and effort on those busy weeknights by preparing dinner in the morning. There’s nothing better than coming home to savory smells and a cooked dinner. Try your hand at these four easy weeknight meals to make in your slow cooker.

Mac and Cheese

This is no outta-the-box mac and cheese recipe, more like outta this world! You can literally dump all of your ingredients into the pot, including elbow pasta, milk, cheese, and seasonings, and let the slow cooker do its thing while you do yours. Perfect for a quick weeknight meal that will please everyone, or as a dish to bring to a party, this ch-easy meal does not disappoint.

Swedish Meatballs

Skip the red sauce and go for the creaminess of Swedish meatballs, crafted with mostly pre-made ingredients that make this 1,000 times easier. Grab some pre-cooked frozen meatballs, add in all the goodness, including cream of chicken Soup and onion soup mix seasoning, and let it cook on low for the afternoon. Topped over noodles, this dish is a true weeknight winner.

Cilantro Lime Chicken

Not only is this a drop-and-go meal, this Cilantro Lime Chicken can also be prepped ahead, frozen, and pulled out when you’re ready! Simply put, you’ll grab all of the ingredients (chicken, corn, beans, and salsa, to name a few) and simply put them in a freezer bag. When you’re ready to cook, place it all in the pot and you’re good to go! Of course, if you’re prepping the day of, just omit the bag and freezing. Voila!

Pulled Pork Slider

Pulled pork is often the first food that comes to mind when you mention Crock-Pot or another slow cooker. And for good reason. This quintessential slow cooker meat turns into melt-in-your-mouth goodness once cooked. When the meat is fork-tender (we recommend a shoulder cut for the marbled fat), top over mini buns for drool-worthy sliders.
