The dumpster fire we all call 2020 is finally coming to a close, and that’s definitely one December holiday worth celebrating. If you’re looking for a few ways to have a good time between now and the New Year, check out our guide to Chattanooga’s three best bets.
Early Bird New Year’s Eve Dinner Cruise
Got other plans for the actual drop of the ball? Or maybe you have an early bedtime. Either way, this two-hour, 4 PM option gets you out on the water to take in the sights, and includes a live DJ and tours of the pilothouse. A buffet-style dinner will be served, including prime rib, shrimp creole, white rice, baby red potatoes, vegetable medley, salad, dinner rolls, cheesecake, iced tea, coffee, and water.
New Year’s Eve Dinner Train
This restored locomotive and 1924 dining car take you on a two-hour excursion where you’ll enjoy an elaborate three-course meal as your eyes dine on the sights. Departure times are 5 PM and 8 PM, so either way, you’ll be back in time for the real party. But act fast, tickets are selling out.
New Year’s Eve On the River
Ready to party all night as you cruise the river – or at least until just after midnight? This boat ride begins with hors d’oeuvres on the pier, with boarding beginning at 8:30 for a 9 PM departure. On board, you’ll enjoy a live DJ, pilothouse tours, party favors, your own bottle of champagne, a buffet dinner, and more.
