3 TOP COFFEE SHOPS TO VISIT ON INTERNATIONAL COFFEE DAY

|

September 29 is International Coffee Day. And what better way to celebrate this robust holiday than with a delicious cup of black gold. Check out our guide to some of the best coffee shops to visit in Nashville on this extra-caffeinated day.

Wherever you end up, remember to bring your mask. Nashville’s coffee shops all require them for entry, in compliance with the Metro Health Department’s current COVID-19 guidelines.

Stay Golden

You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu at this classy restaurant and roastery. But you definitely shouldn’t miss their Golden Milk Latte, a delicious concoction of oat milk, turmeric, raisin compote, and spices. Also worth noting is that International Coffee Day falls on Stay Golden’s weekly Taco Tuesday, meaning two tacos for $5. Maybe you should get a cocktail, too, while you’re there. Parties of two or more can select from five options and share a carafe of their favorite beverage.

Crema

You can’t have a list of can’t-miss coffee shops in Nashville, Tennessee and not include Crema, a two-time second place winner of the Specialty Coffee Association of America Roasters Choice Competition. They do everything right here, but you absolutely must try their specialty drinks. The Coffee Soda contains a mix of iced coffee demerara and citric acid syrup that’s carbonated and garnished with a fresh slice of orange peel. Or there’s the Apiary – an iced latte made with mint-infused coffee blossom honey, espresso, and milk. Delicioso.

8th & Roast Coffee Co.

There’s no drink this elegant shop with two Nashville locations doesn’t do right, but there are a few unique offerings that are truly worth celebrating. Check out their Rose Sproda, featuring housemade rosemary simple syrup, lemon, honey, and espresso, served atop cold sparkling water. You also might want to check out the Cortado Con Leche, consisting of 2 ounces of espresso combined with 2 ounces of steamed sweetened condensed milk.

Nashville knows coffee, and even if you stray from this list you’ll likely discover something delicious. For more tips on getting the most out of everyday, visit the Olympus Midtown blog.
