Attractions to Visit for Every Season in Santa Fe, NM

Fun Activities for Every Season in Santa Fe

Anyone who has ever been to Santa Fe will tell you that every season is a great time to visit, with a variety of attractions that offer a unique experience for different times of the year. Here are some fun attractions to check out for each season near our Sante Fe apartments at Olympus Rodeo

Winter Through Spring

While Winter and spring in Santa Fe are chillier due to snow, this also means you can enjoy outdoor activities like skiing and snowboarding. Ski and Snow Santa Fe offers ski and snowboard rentals, as well as lessons for beginners! If you are going with friends for a weekend trip, there are plenty of cozy accommodations in the area. At the base of the mountain, you can also enjoy a variety of great dining options, including La Casa, Totemoff’s Bar and Grill, and Terrace Grill.

Summer

Visiting Santa Fe in the summer is a different kind of experience. Locals can partake in a variety of outdoor activities, including fishing at these scenic locations. It’s also a great time to head out and make memories with friends at local restaurants and bars. The Santa Fe margarita trail promises a one-of-a-kind experience where you can sample drinks from a variety of local establishments. Each summer, thousands of Santa Fe locals also gather for the burning of Zozobra, where they can leave the gloom of their past behind and start anew.

Fall

Many people visit Santa Fe during fall because it’s not as crowded and the weather is mild, perfect for scenic hikes. The city provides great opportunities to enjoy the views of golden aspen from the aspen vista trail. The various trails on the slopes of the mountains, together with the bright autumn leaves, will wow you throughout the hike. You can also try The High Road to Taos, which shines through the foliage season.
