MEET SANTA FE'S 4 BEST MARGARITAS - OUR FAVORITE STOPS ON THE MARGARITA TRAIL

|

Santa Fe is known for many things, and one of those things — the Santa Fe Margarita Trail — tops our list for things to do in the area. The Margarita Trail is an experience to remember, allowing you to taste over 40 of the best margaritas in the world, using a simple passport or phone app to guide the way. Not ready to take them all on at once? Here’s our list of Santa Fe’s four best margaritas and our favorite stops on the Margarita Trail.

The Anasazi Restaurant & Bar

Inspired by Santa Fe’s rich cultural and culinary history, The Anasazi Restaurant offers contemporary American cuisine inspired by local ingredients and local farms. Located at the Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi, the bar serves up premium tequila margaritas, like the Silver Coin, the bar’s signature margarita featuring Silver Tequila, Cointreau, Lemon, and Lime. Order it alongside a unique food pairing, and it’s a match made in heaven. And if you’re hitting the trail, the featured Sandia y Pepino is necessary to try (the watermelon is so good!).

Maria’s New Mexican Kitchen

A Santa Fe tradition since 1950, Maria’s New Mexican Kitchen is a neighborhood staple for locals, and known for their delicious New Mexican cuisine and list of over 180 100% agave margaritas. Yep, you read that right. We’re big fans of the Drink, Pray, Love margarita, and the Space Monkey. A marg that will take you to the moon, that’s promising!

Coyote Cafe & Rooftop Cantina

If you ask anybody what their favorite outdoor dining joint is in Santa Fe, Coyote Cafe & Rooftop Cantina is bound to make the list. There’s a lot to love about the lively atmosphere, where you can enjoy sunset views, amazing New Mexican cuisine, and creative cocktails and margaritas. Grab one of their refreshing margaritas and head up top for sunset, you will not be disappointed.

Low n’ Slow Lowrider Bar

If you’re looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Low n’ Slow is your spot. This unique hotel bar located in Hotel Chimayó de Santa Fe is ideal for ultimate relaxation, and if you’re into lowriders, you’re in luck. The distinctive lowrider style is evident in the attention to detail throughout the bar (hello tables made of chromed steering wheels). The featured trail margarita, the Chimayóso Margarita, is beyond tasty.
