The company of young people celebrate St. Patrick

MAKE IT A ST. PATRICK'S DAY TO REMEMBER WITH A VISIT TO THESE 4 ABQ BARS

|

If you love St. Patrick’s Day, you’ll want to know exactly where to go for the best “craic” (fun) in Albuquerque. Here are a few bars and pubs to visit this year that are sure to make a grand time of it.

O’Niell’s Pub

This traditional Irish pub on Central Avenue is a local favorite when it comes to St. Patrick’s Day. They’ve got a perfect menu for celebrating this Irish holiday, with items like the St. Patty Melt, Guinness Bangers & Mash, and Shepherd’s Pie. O’Niell’s mission is “good food, honest drink,” which means top quality food and perfect pints. You’ll get plenty of both, with a beer selection that fills a whole page of their menu.

Red Door Brewing Company

You’ll find the perfect blend of sass and silliness at this brewery. Red Door has a fun and friendly vibe, and a unique sense of humor that is showcased in everything they do. They take pride in providing the fastest and friendliest service in the city. Try their Vanilla Cream Ale or New England IPA. And for St. Patrick’s Day, you really must knock back their Irish Red Ale.

Thirsty Eye Brewing Company

An art gallery and a brewery? Yep, that’s exactly what you’ll find at this unique hangout. Whether you’re out on the patio or indoors, you can enjoy all the beautiful paintings and prints created by local artists. You’ll also love their beer list, which includes favorites like Biscochito Liquido, a brown ale with anise and cinnamon, the el Drac, a West Coast IPA, and their vanilla porter, Rented Tux. And if you want to stick with the Celtic theme, try their Huning Highlander Scotch Ale – not quite Irish, but don’t worry, we won’t tell …

Two Fools Tavern

Go “where the craic is mighty” – to Two Fools Tavern, also on Central. This is one of the most authentic Irish pubs in the Duke City. Its décor will have you feeling like you’ve stepped onto the Emerald Isle. Go old school this St. Patrick’s Day and let Two Fools serve you up a perfect pint of Guinness and enjoy a good Irish meal with a Paddy O’Malley Melt, Corned Beef & Cabbage, or Guinness Beef Boxty.
