In the area, you'll find all kinds of beautiful outdoor activities. Our Albuquerque apartments are just around the corner from Albuquerque BioPark, somewhere the beauty of nature is on full display. The BioPark offers everything a variety of great activities that you can take advantage of on your visit.

BioPark Zoo

Visit the BioPark zoo to catch a glimpse of both exotic and native animals in their naturally designed enclosures. Featuring animals like the Indian peafowl, the big cats, and an anaconda, the 64-acre zoo has been around since 1927. It is bike friendly and wheelchair accessible. Stop by from Wednesdays to Sundays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

ABQ Aquarium

Get fascinated by marine life in the BioPark aquarium, located close to the Rio Grande. It features corals, giant clams, sand tiger sharks, and sea dragons. It holds beauty from the native marine habitat to aquatic animals from the Gulf of Mexico. This section of the BioPark is open from Tuesdays to Sundays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

BioPark Botanical Garden

A visit to the ABQ Botanic Garden provides an amazing experience. It features a variety of gardens built from Mediterranean, desert, and even Japanese habitats. What's more, the garden has its BUGarium, where you see over 40 species of butterflies and a collection of other pollinators, insects, and arachnids.
