Shop for Native American Jewelry at Albuquerque's Silver Sun

For some unique Native American jewelry, head to Silver Sun. It offers the work of skilled designers who create traditional and contemporary pieces featuring natural turquoise and other semi-precious stones. The following are some of the artists you will discover near our Albuquerque apartments:

Bryant Martinez

A New Mexico native, Bryant Martinez comes from Water Edge and Sage Brush clans. He is a self-taught silversmith and believes that imagination is the start of art. Bryant is always looking for a challenge, and you never know what unique designs he will create next. Check out Bryant’s work when you are in Albuquerque.

Ruth Ann Begay

While Ruth Ann Begay was born in Phoenix, she was raised here in Albuquerque, where she grew up only speaking Navajo. She learned the art of silversmithing from her mother and sister. Ruth Ann became a professional silversmith after high school and enjoys having a career that allows her to show off her creative side.

Shane R. Hendren

Shane R. Hendren is a master silversmith who creates jewelry rooted in his Navajo heritage. He combines traditional symbolism and iconography with engraving and other advanced metal techniques. Shane's work is also featured in books and magazines and is a part of public and private collections around the world.

Kathleen Sanchez

Kathleen Sanchez has been with Silver Sun for over 36 years. She is the shop's main jewelry designer and creates pieces inspired by her Pueblo heritage. When Kathleen isn't producing new designs, you will likely find her participating in Pueblo culture.

Before shopping for Native American jewelry, start your day with a stack of pancakes. You will also find both traditional and creative offerings at several local restaurants. When you would like to call Olympus Encantada home, please contact our leasing team. They will gladly discuss everything you can enjoy as a resident of our Albuquerque apartments.
